Beehive Inspection
Set an Objective for the Hive Inspection
When you are inspecting your hives, always move slowly and gently. No sudden or harsh movements! Your bees will not appreciate it if you cause major disturbance in the hive.
Be clear in your mind what you want to achieve before you start.
There are Routine Checks at the beginning of every inspection,
not requiring a frame to be lifted out of the hive.
The reasons for opening a hive can vary, therefore all or only a
subset of the inspection items listed in the following are applicable.
