Tasks performed by Worker Bees
- Collecting nectar, pollen and water.
- Collecting tree resins and other substances and produce propolis.
- Packing pollen into comb cells.
- Producing wax and build comb.
- Controlling hive temperature and humidity.
- Attending the queen, feed and groom her.
- Producing royal jelly and brood food and nurse the brood.
- Cleaning the hive, undertaker.
- Producing honey by serial processing by up to 100 bees.
- Storing honey in comb and ripen it.
- Protecting the colony against intruders.
